Position Summary The Senior Veterinarian will hold an essential role in the Oakland Zoo Veterinary Hospital – a 17,000 sq ft, state of the art facility set in the beautiful Oakland Hills.  Our hospital is equipped for both mobile and hospitalized case management, with tools such as a BodyTom 32 slice CT unit, digital radiography, endoscopy both rigid and flexible, ultrasonography, advanced surgical equipment, in house lab capabilities and much more. The Oakland Zoo is a leader in animal care and welfare with numerous conservation partners with whom the senior veterinarian may be actively involved.  The Senior Veterinarian will work collaboratively with our veterinary team - comprising 3 full time veterinarians, 4 full time veterinary technicians
