Context: Historically, we focused on protecting wildlands and endangered species like the grizzlies, wolves, and salmon that live there.  In recent years, the Sierra Club is leading the charge to move away from the dirty fossil fuels that cause climate disruption and toward a clean energy economy.  In 2019, we have seen an influx of clean energy commitments from Idaho Power, Pocatello, Boise, Ada County and Tamarack Mountain Resort. Scope: The Idaho Chapter is beginning to organize with our clean energy work in rural Idaho communities.  Our primary goals for 2020 are to begin to conduct research around strong messaging, identifying citizens and community champions and/or supporters.  A successful candidate will develop a communications plan to
