Under the lead of a Senior Environmental Scientist (Specialist), the incumbent will assist in the implementation of mitigation and restoration actions outlined in the Fish Restoration Program Agreement (FRPA) between CDFW and Department of Water Resources (DWR). The primary FRPA obligation is to restore 8,000 acres of intertidal marsh and associated subtidal habitat in the Delta and Suisun Marsh, including 800 acres of marsh in the low-salinity zone. Incumbent will assist CDFW and DWR staff in preparation of tidal habitat restoration plans and environmental documents to comply with California Endangered Species Act, federal Endangered Species Act, California Environmental Quality Act, and National Environmental Policy Act.
