This position is located within the Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Southeast Fisheries Science Center (SEFSC), Sustainable Fisheries Division (SFD) with (1) vacancy located in Miami, FL; Panama City, FL; Pascagoula, MS; Beaufort, NC; or Galveston, TX. As a Supervisory Research Fish Biologist, you will perform the following duties:
  • Manage, supervise, lead, design, initiate and execute research projects and analyses for living marine resources in the Atlantic Ocean. Identify and lead research on stock assessments, fish population dynamics, fish biology, and ecosystems. Develop and present for review new ideas for analysis and presentation of economic data.
