Job Summary The Division of Coastal Sciences in the School of Ocean Science and Engineering (SOSE) at The University of Southern Mississippi invites qualified applicants for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty position in Marine Resource Economics or Socio-Economics at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to begin in Fall 2019. Primary Duties and Responsibilities We seek a resource economist, socio-economist and/or policy expert to focus on coastal and marine natural assessment and management and coupled natural/human systems. Areas of research are broad, and include, but are not limited to: evaluation & valuation of ecosystem services; applying social science to resource management; societal impacts of environmental change; coastal resilience; stakeholder
