SUMMARY: The Woods Hole Research Center (WHRC) seeks a climate scientist who will lead a new research effort into the effects of climate change on investment risk. We believe this effort has the potential to catalyze action on climate change by helping to account for climate risk in asset valuation and financial markets. The position will be funded through a new partnership with a private investment firm and a public asset holder. WHRC will contribute understanding of climate science and the partners will provide expertise in financial markets.
