An enthusiastic and motivated graduate student of MSc Conservation and Biodiversity and BSc Zoology at the University of Exeter, Cornwall Campus. Good at working both independently and within a team. Possess excellent communication and time management skills developed through academic and practical experience. Looking to pursue scientific work related to my interests.

Orangutan Tropical Peatland Project (OuTrop), Borneo

Conservation Volunteer                                                          June 2015 – September 2015

• Undertook orangutan, gibbon and red langur monkey searches and follows, collected behavioural data
• Worked as part of a team to build and repair dams in the rainforest

• Set up and led bird watching project for other volunteers

• Worked with local villagers to spread awareness of conservation issues in Borneo

A member of the Wildlife Documentary Society, attending a number of talks by cameramen and producers on the subject of using documentaries as conservation tools.
Enjoy a range of outdoor activities including surfing, paddle boarding, and hill walking.
